Your Perfect Wedding Photographer
Una breve intervista rilasciata l’8 Novembre per il sito inglese Your Perfect Wedding Photographer, su un matrimonio a Nizza che ho fotografato quest’estate!
How would you describe your photography style?
I would describe my photography style as creative reportage. I prefer the usage of natural light in order to capture unique and emotion filled shots of the day without the usage of filters or various staged poses.
In addition to this infind it important that the photos of a wedding serve also as a reminder of those, and for those in attendance. For this reason intake group shots as well as portraits. Keeping in mind I prefer these portraits to be spontanteous and natural as possible this avoiding those typical staged portraits.
I like to keep in mind that at the end of the ceremony, even months and years later, the only thing left for the spouses are their promises to each other and the photos to help them relive the memories.
What did you love about capturing weddings?
I love the array of emotions. The tension during the preperations, the emotion of the ceremony, the euphoria of the party.
Whilst photographing a wedding I have the opportunity to enter in to the life of a couple, be it only for a few hours. Yet I have the gift of remaining in their life forever. Photographs that I take allow them to relive emotions and moments from their special day.
I love the feeling and bond created with the spouses. And only through this bond formed is it possible to tap in to the intimate feelings, and photgraph the true magic of it all on their wedding day.
I stand by their side in every moment in such an important day revealing thousands of different emotions, expressions, moods, expectations, fears and happiness.
Please tell us a little bit about the wedding day
Following the civil ceremony at the town hall of Nice, the couple dedicated themselves some time alone to take some shots in a location dear to their hearts. The beach and enchanting boardwalk of Nice.
The religious ceremony with Jewish rituals took place beachside under a white gazebo, with am infinte amount of candlea flickering like stars in the night sky.
The atmosphere created was both welcoming and very romantic. The accumulation of various emotions throughout the day was met with an explosion of energy and dancing in to the night.
We just love this style, we are massive fans of the black and white photo but love the colour and vibrancy in the colour shots which make such a great contrast.
